Stargirl explains her "happy wagon" with her pebbles. When she decides to become "Susan" her happy wagon only has two pebbles. Why do you think she was so unhappy when she became "Susan"? Should we change ourselves to meet the desires of others? If we do change ourselves to meet others' needs, do we lose a sense of ourselves in the process? What would be a solution to this dilemma?
