I said oxymoron, goofball! We have had a lot of fun discussing oxymorons. Oxymorons are phrases that use contradictory terms. In your opinion, is "a small fortune" an oxymoron? Explain your answer. Additionally, I'd like for you to provide your own example of an oxymoron.
To me "a small fortune" is an oxymoron.I believe this because there is no such thing as a small fortune only big fortune. My oxymoron would be peaceful Childersburg Middle School.I say this because Childersburg Middle School is not peaceful.

A "small fortune" to me is an Oxymoron. I think a "small fortune" is an Oxymoron because a fortune isn't small. My Oxymoron would be alone in a crowd. You can not be alone and be in a crowd.

A small fortune is an oxymoron because a fortune is a lot of money. Small means little, and fortune means a lot or a big amount of money. Another oxymoron is bad luck.

I think "a small fortune" is not an oxymoron. A fortune could be small if for example you had a small collection of something and its not worth a million dollars but it is worth about one thousand dollars. An oxymoron would be something like dead livestock.

I think that "a small world" is a oxymoron. I think this because fortunes are big not small. If you got a small fortune you would not believe it because it would be something that is not that serious. Another oxymoron is "Big Baby." Because baby's are not big.
